"When I Read My Daughter Rudyard Kipling" (Teaser Clip)
Manik was commissioned by Actor's Theater of Louisville
to create an animated series based on Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories."

"Sysiphus", from
Myths and Hymns: Chapter 2
When Master Voices decided to create a visual album for Adam Guettel's epic song cycle "Myths and Hymns," Manik was hired to create an animated segment for the story of Sysiphus. Along with director Anne Kaufmann, and featuring the voice of the brilliant Daniel Breaker (as well as the whole of the Master Voices choir), this piece can be viewed here as part of the larger work (begins at 8:39).

Rona Siddiqui's Salaam Medina: Tales of a Halfghan
As part of the brilliant Rona Siddiqui's vision residency at Ars Nova, she presented an evening of sketches from work across her canon. Manik was commissioned to realize her vision of this piece including several entirely animated characters.
Directed by the luminary Raja Feather Kelly.

Manik was asked by Actor's Theatre of Louisville to create a promo for Pirronne Yousefzadeh's heralded production of Lucas Hnath's brilliant new play.

Manik was asked by Actor's Theatre of Louisville to create a promo for Dave Malloy and Anne Washburn's adaptation of Little Bunny Foo Foo.
"Christmas in a Bad Year"
Manik was hired by PolyGenre Music to create an
animated lyric video to Carolyn Traore's saucy holiday jam.

"He Said/She Said News"
was created by Bethany Heinrich for the hugely worldwide women's platform Mogul. In addition to being a co-anchor/cameo, Manik did all the animation, music and video editing for a series of oddball news-like shorts about life and love in the city.
"Pillow Talk with Preston Bailey"
was created by Kathleen McNenny for the celebrity wedding planner (and all around incredible human) Preston Bailey. Manik animated the beautiful drawings of Jocelyn Henry, created the opening sequence from an original drawing by Nikita Polyansky, composed the opening theme music, and provided additional original music. The full 6-episode series was released via the Huffington Post Over 50.
